Our client was a HNW individual aged over 70 with multiple business assets and revenue streams looking to raise circa £5m to refinance existing mortgage debt across their property portfolio and free up capital for additional investment.
On paper, the income received by the client was insufficient for high street banks to consider, but a deeper dive into the client’s circumstances showed a great degree of financial flexibility.
Using our extensive network of relationships with private banks, we found a competitive lender who was willing to consider the overall client profile and able to see the true financial flexibility our client had.
Due to the particularly complex nature of the client’s income sources, we arranged and attended a meeting with the private bank to ensure a smooth process and as such we were able to obtain an agreement within 2 weeks for the full amount the client required secured against the client’s London home.
